Miss Russia may not have made it to the Top 16 of the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, but she looked stunning in a ruby red gown by the Filipino fashion designer Michael Cinco.
The Dubai-based designer shared in his Instagram account on Thursday what Kseniya Alexandrova could have worn if she advanced to the pageant’s semi-finals.
Cinco shared that his creation was made of tulle with Swarovski crystals, pearls and paillette.
“Sad that she didn’t make it to the semi-finals to show this stunning couture gown but still she looks amazing…,” Cinco said.
But the designer was lucky when Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere gave her final walk and passed her crown to her successor, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa, wearing one of his creations.
In another post, Cinco shared a behind-the-scenes clip wherein Mittenaere first tried on her gown, which he said was “showing her perfect figure with a 24″ waistline.” /ra
