Hamsters are among the cutest pets a person can own. Japanese clothing company Mocolle agrees and created t-shirts designed to show off their cuteness — except it has a hidden, naughty bonus.
Called the Cheek Pouch T-shirt, it features a cute hamster happily stuffing its cheek pouches with sunflower seeds. It comes in two versions: the golden Syrian hamster and the gray Djungarian breed.
However, as cosplayer and model Saki Miyamoto demonstrates, wearing the shirt creates a sort of 3D effect on the hamster cheek pouches. The pouches were designed to line up with the wearer’s chest area and highlight it.
Mocolle has a reputation for creating odd and sometimes fanciful items of clothing. After all, the company’s name was made by combining the words “mousou” (fantasy) and “collection.”
Some of their other products include the frilly Lolita maternity wear.
There’s also the spirit-rousing Shinto shrine maiden swimsuit.
The Cheek Pouch T-shirt currently has about 50 days left on its crowdfunding campaign via Japanese site Campfire. JB
