After impressively acing her entrance exams for college, Vice President Leni Robredo’s daughter Jillian finally chose the school she’ll be heading to, and it’s no less than New York University.

The youngest daughter of Robredo flew to New York today, Aug. 23, as revealed by her sister Tricia’s Instagram post. Tricia posted photos of her and sister Aika, giving their bunso (youngest) a hug before sending her off.

“Been dreading this day for the longest time huhu,” Tricia wrote. “Early morning send-off for Jill, who will be attending NYU on a scholarship! Always so proud of my two sisters but yallz keep leaving.”

The country’s second top official teased on Facebook yesterday, Aug. 22, that the Robredo family “are yet embarking on a new chapter.”

Aside from making it to NYU, Jillian also aced the University of the Philippines College Admissions Test (UPCAT). She also passed the entrance exams to De La Salle University and Ateneo de Manila University with flying colors.

The 18-year-old has been accepted in NYU’s BioMolecular Science Program under the Tandon School of Engineering. JB
