A gym in the suburb of Mansfield, in Brisbane, Australia, had some rather furrier visitors than usual when a mother koala and her joey managed to sneak into the building, and perch on top of one of the exercise machines.
The Results Room shared photos of the pair, called Caramello and Toffee, on Instagram last Sept. 24. The post stated, “CrossFit Aftermath loves having new faces around the gym! Absolutely anyone is welcome to come throw down – including koalas I guess.”
A follow-up photo was posted on Sept. 25, with the gym confirming that the koalas had been safely returned to the wild. JB
