WATCH: Lions celebrate Halloween by playing with zoo decor

It’s Halloween and the animals at Werribee Zoo in Melbourne, Australia have been spoiled.Their hippos were treated to yummy pumpkins while the lions loved their delicious Halloween present of… rhino poo.

The animals’ usual enrichment activities were accelerated with a Halloween theme, keeper Gillian Maxwell explained.

“Giant spider pinatas covered in bison and camel fur, papier-mache ghouls smeared in interesting smells and a haunted house for the resident meerkats were among the surprises designed by a team of creative volunteers,” a spokesperson for the zoo said. KM
