A Florida woman got lucky for the second time, winning her local lottery two years after her first win, and taking home a $500,000 (almost P26.2 million) jackpot prize this time around.
The lucky winner is 63-year-old Melodee Mysel. She won by playing a $5 (almost P262) Extra Play scratch-off game, lottery officials said on Thursday, Nov. 15.
Mysel bought the lucky ticket at the Lamri Citgo station in Miami.
Her win comes two years after winning $1 million (around P52 million) from the same local lottery.
The winner’s lucky streak is not new, as others have also won the United States local lotteries multiple times. One man in Maryland won two times just days apart, while another man from New Jersey won over $5 million (almost P262 million) by winning three times in just one day. JB
