Ayala Land’s largest sustainable estate Nuvali has opened this year’s Disney-themed “Festival of Lights” with a cause as it partnered with Help Educate and Rear Orphans (HERO) Foundation to help the families of the country’s fallen soldiers.

In a press briefing, Nuvali general manager John Estacio clarified that visitors can still watch the annual spectacle for free although guests can donate a minimum of P50 for the foundation, which will be used for the schooling of the soldiers’ children or for the wounded troopers themselves.

“About sharing your gift with the community. [We have an] online site where people want to see light and sound show could donate P50 for our good soldiers,” he said.

Estacio noted that as an incentive, donors will have fast pass access to the show, a spot in the bleacher seats, and a Disney-themed bottled water.

“The entrance is free. The whole show is free but if you want to share your blessings during the Christmas time, sama po kayo dito (please join this),” he said.

“You don’t have to queue. Priority or like express lane and you got refreshments also. Parang naka-eroplano po talaga kayo (It’s as if you’re riding an airplane),” he added.

Estacio also said that donations can be made during the event or through the digital mode of payment which will be coming online on Nov. 30.

Nuvali has started on Saturday its highly-anticipated immersive light and sound show entitled “Reimagine the Magic: A festival of Lights” at The Fields in Nuvali, Santa Rosa City, Laguna.

In partnership with The Walt Disney Company Philippines, the show, which will feature tunes from Mickey Mouse, Disney princesses, Frozen and a Christmas medley, will run every 30 minutes from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. everyday until Jan. 13. JB
