Beauty Gonzalez Finds Herself in a Fake Ad Campaign for a Product She Never Knew Of

Fake news, when lies pose as legitimate and verified reports, can get so twisted these days. In the case of actress Beauty Gonzalez, she came across a story which implicated her in a controversy, posing as an ad campaign for a product she’s never even heard of.

Imagine going about your day, living your best life when you encounter an entire Q & A article, pretending to be an interview you had with a publication that as of press time can’t be found with a quick Google search. This is exactly what happened to Gonzalez. She took to Instagram Stories this morning to debunk the incident.

The story is quite dedicated to the lie. They tell of a complete backstory of how Gonzalez went on a Salamat, Dok guesting to say that she doesn’t  work out to stay in shape. They also used various photos of the actress, clearly culled from different uncredited sources.

What’s scary is how they seem to be propagating a dangerous belief that you don’t need doctors or personal trainers to guide you through taking care of your body. It’s all a set-up for your to believe that Gonzalez only uses a product called Purple Mangosteen for her weight loss.

How sick! It’s lies upon lies. Gonzalez, as confirmed by Lifestyle.INQ when we reached out to her, never said such things, never even heard of Purple Mangosteen.

And never is it true that weight-loss is found in dubious products and by shunning off scientifically-proven methods like right exercise, proper diet, and consultations with professionals.

Gonzales concluded her Instagram Stories on the matter with this:

Furthermore, Gonzalez reiterated to Lifestyle.INQ how she sticks to diet and exercise to stay healthy and in shape. “And prayers,” she even adds in jest.
