Style agenda: Shopping new basics feat. Tony Labrusca

Tony Labrusca adds another feather to his snapback cap: getting chosen as Vice Ganda’s leading man in an upcoming Christmastime flick.

I’m no showbiz pundit and I can’t quite expertly gauge how much of an achievement that is, but judging by Tony’s enthusiasm at the prospect, I say, congratulations, brother!

If you’re not already among his million-strong followers, a quick scan through his socials will reveal a stylish dude who can teach you a thing or two about how you can upgrade your wardrobe with some new basics.

Here are the four pieces you need that Tony Labrusca just happens to have gotten his hands on first. —JG

Camo pants. They’re the one thing on this Earth that can be sufficiently flamboyant or nondescript, depending on the context.

The rugby shirt. It checks all boxes: more dressed-up than a T-shirt, more hip than a polo shirt, and more WASPy than a plaid shirt.

The khaki jacket. Let’s give the denim jacket a break. The good thing: the khaki jacket does look great with blue jeans.

Rose-tinted lenses. Nothing says style savvy and optimism in this godforsaken world like a vibrant pair of these.
