How Solenn Heussaff is supporting local for the holidays

It was ten months ago when actress Solenn Heussaff introduced her own pop-up store in Makati. Now, she’s reintroducing Solenn Manila to the market.

Heussaff made public her decision to re-enter the retail market in her Instagram video posted yesterday, Dec. 6.

She recalled how successful her launch was ten months ago, and said that it was “supposed to lead to a Solenn Manila store.”

Heussaff, who is also an artist, feels Solenn Manila is an avenue of her creativity, making it a repository of local brands with her own touch.

“It was an amazing way for me to squeeze out my creative juices,” she explained. “Solenn Manila came to mind where I would have a store created by me with all my favorite things. This goes for food, home décor, anything under the table.”

“You guys know me. I’m a little bit all over the place,” she quipped.

“I’m really looking forward to bringing Solenn Manila into your homes and into your stomach,” she said.

Though Heussaff has yet to have a physical store, she is already selling goods on the store’s website. Holiday offerings include home scents, bibingka and a truffle queso de bola spread, all made with her own twist. NVG
