Jameson Blake still sees the same Charlie Dizon after her best actress wins

Actor Jameson Blake sees no difference in Charlie Dizon as a person, with whom he’s worked with in two projects before she clinched her first two best actress honors for her role in “Fan Girl.”

After working in “Four Sisters Before The Wedding” and a Valentine episode for “Maaalaala Mo Kaya,” Blake now gets to work with Dizon again in “My Sunset Girl.”

“One thing I noticed? Na ganoon pa rin siya (That’s she’s still the same). She didn’t change [just because she now has an] award… I can see she’s more focused, more professional when it comes to work,” Blake said in the online press conference for the series last July 6.

Working for the third time with Dizon, Blake also noted that they’ve gotten closer and just had to make minor technical adjustments related to work, specifically on their roles.

In the series, Blake plays Lucas, a free spirit trapped between two identities. Does he see similarities with his own personality?

“May mga small similarities lang kasi si Lucas he didn’t grow up with his parents I think. Ako naman, I grew up with my mom pero I have a stepdad din. Medyo techie din si Lucas and that’s how I am as a person,” he said.

(There are similarities only in so far as Lucas didn’t grow up with his family, I think. Me, I grew up with my mom but I have a stepdad. Lucas is also a techie and that’s how I am as a person.)

“My Sunset Girl” will start streaming on the iWantTFC app (iOs and Android), and on iwanttfc.com, starting July 14 at 8 p.m. JB
