Joao Constancia admits to deliberately giving Criza Taa ‘kilig’ moments

Without batting an eyelash, actor-dancer Joao Constancia revealed that his partner in the series “He’s Into Her,” Criza Taa, asked him to be sweet in one scene.

“Si Criza kasi palagi niya sinasabi sa akin na, ‘hoy Joao, bahala ka na. Pakiligin mo ako, ha,’” Constancia said during the online press conference for the series last Monday, July 26. (Criza always tells me, “Hey, Jao, I leave it to you. Make me giddy.”)

Of course, Constancia gave his co-star what she wanted.

“We have to do this together. So, whenever we do it, we just do our best,” he said.

Constancia plays Lee Roi Gozon, who’s part of the group Alpha 3. The character is artistic, mysterious and quiet. Criza meanwhile plays Zarnaih Marchessa who, according to Constancia, is perfect for the character since she is talkative and fun to work with.

“And when I watch it, natutuwa po ako kasi somehow alam ko na kinikilig si Criza. Mas natutuwa ako na nakikita ko na kinikilig siya on screen. Kita ko talaga ‘yung genuine kilig niya,” he revealed.

(And when I watch it, I’m happy, because somehow I know she is giddy. I am all the more happy to see her that way onscreen. I can really see that it is genuine.)

Constancia also recalls one scene where he cannot contain his laughter as one co-star, Gello Marquez, pulled off a prank..

“I remember when we were shooting the scene I couldn’t stop laughing while we were taking it. Like I had to hide it. We knew the camera was on us and everything,” Constancia recalled. “It was true and genuine.” JB
