Limang Siglo is a volunteer-enabled project with the objective of doing digital documentation for Heritage Catholic Churches in the Philippines, in line with the 500 years anniversary of Catholicism in the country this year – 2021.
The group is mounting a Christmas concert dubbed as “500 Taon ng Kapaskuhan” on 14 December 2021 at 7:00pm, to support the operations of Limang Siglo. This concert is done in partnership with Foundation for Media Alternatives (FMA) and the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP).
This is a free and online event that will be streamed on Limang Siglo’s Facebook and Youtube account. It will feature artists like Jose Mari Chan, Erik Santos, Christian Bautista, Rannie Raymundo, Aicelle Santos, Liza Chan-Parpan, Sharon Valderrama and many more.
Original Christmas Song compositions by Fr. Carlo Magno Marcelo, Fr. Jonathan Bartolome, Nilo Nucup, Don Mauro Gomez, Crispin Nacpil Cadiang, Clarence Bautista, Jericho Torres and Rolan Fabros Jr. will be heard publicly for the first time here.
