Andrea Brillantes fangirls over Sharon Cuneta

If there’s one celebrity that Andrea Brillantes fangirls at the drop of a hat, it is megastar Sharon Cuneta.

Ang saya-saya ko noon,” Brillantes recalled during the online press conference for the ABS-CBN and iQiyi series “Saying Goodbye,” yesterday, Dec. 20.

(Every time I see this celebrity, I would have pictures taken many times, and I shriek. Never did I lose my being a fangirl. I remember last Christmas special, I felt giddy when I saw Ms. Sharon. I was so happy.)

(I feel that it is my personality trait to shriek at celebrities.)

At the same time, Brillantes feels nervous nowadays because she is starring in the first collaboration of ABS-CBN and iQiyi.

Ibig sabihin noon, mas pinapahalagahan namin ang trabaho namin,” she said.

(Actually, what I feel is the nervousness would never really go away from us. It’s better that we feel the nervousness and pressure instead of none. That means we value our work.)

Brilantes said she and her screen partner Seth Fedelin feel the pressure because iQiyi is an international company.

(The audience is bigger here and we are the first to be released by iQiyi. Of course, the pressure is great on me and Seth.)

Written and directed by Dolly Dulu, “Saying Goodbye” also stars Kobie Brown, Andi Abaya, Sunshine Dizon, Dominic Ochoa, Valerie Concepcion, Polo Ravales and Bernard Palanca. It is now streaming for free exclusively on the iQiyi PH app or iQ.com. A new episode drops every Saturday at 8 p.m. JB
