CinemaOne Originals 2020 postponed due to COVID-19, extends submissions til June

This year’s CinemaOne Originals is postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, its organizers announced today, Mar. 31.

“We’ve decided to postpone this year’s C1 Originals given the detrimental COVID-19 pandemic we are facing,” said festival director Ronald Arguelles. “The health and safety of our filmmakers, artists and production teams is our priority.”

The organizers also extended the deadline for entries submission for next year’s film festival until Jun. 1.

Requirements include complete scripts with sequence treatment of original or adapted full-length feature film. Selected finalists will receive a P3 million grant for production.
