Ballet Philippines, together with Richprime Global, Inc.,the country’s leading distributor of branded children’s products including Barbie, showcased another outstanding performance dedicated to every girl’s favorite fashion doll, the dainty, inspiring and beautiful Barbie.
At 11 a.m. on May 25, at the new SM Aura Premier 3rd Floor Activity Area in Bonifacio Global City, Barbie held a whole-day “ballet-tastic” interactive event introducing Barbie’s enchanting new doll collection, aptly titled Barbie in the Pink Shoes.
The new toy repertoire features the many transformations of the iconic ballerina doll via a series of activities where young girls could get acquainted with the new ballet Barbie.
The ultimate ballet Barbie experience started at 3 p.m. as Ballet Philippines performed a captivating 45-minute ballet, “Barbie in the Pink Shoes: Dance from Your Heart.”
Training the spotlight on some of the world’s most famous ballet dances, the performance featured notable melodies from internationally renowned musicians, including Dance of the Friends and Variation of Giselle, Act 1 by French composer Adolphe Adam; Dance of the Cygnets, White Swan Solo, Black Swan Pas de Deux, Black Swan Pas de Trois and White Swan Pas de Deux by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaïkovsky; and unforgettable routines adapted from popular shows such as “Swan Lake” and “Giselle.”
With these beloved performances, it was a truly wonderful journey that taught young girls to dance with their hearts and believe in their dreams.
