15th anniversary show at Renaissance
Renaissance Gallery celebrates its 15th anniversary with the exhibit “XV,” which will run June 10-22 at SM Art Center in SM Megamall.
To be featured are works of Hermes Alegre, Bien Benitez, Art Bermido, Remy Boquiren, Arley Carig, Macoy Coching, Addie Cukingnan, Melvin Culaba, August Espino, Egai Fernandez, Allain Hablo, Sio Montera, Sam Penaso, Jay Ragma, Jucar Raquepo, Cid Reyes, Genesis Rovero, Ronaldo Ruiz, Aner Sebastian, Resty Tica, Valen Valero, Melissa Villasenor, Janice Young.
Succeeding this show will be the back-to-back group exhibition “Ambidextrous,” which will open June 24.

Besana at Ayala
ArtistSpace and Galerie Anna present “Non In Cruciatu; Sed Causa Quae Facet Martyrem,” ninth solo exhibition of Robert Besana, ongoing at ArtistSpace of Ayala Museum, Makati City.
The title is the Latin transcription of Saint Augustine of Hippo’s declaration: “It is not the punishment but the cause that makes the martyr.”
Besana’s panoramic, mural-sized work titled “Imitating St. Matthew’s Martyrdom” is a recreation of the 1600 painting by the Italian painter Michelangelo Marisi da Caravaggio.
Exhibit runs until May 29.

Rafael “Boy” Ramos Gozum Jr. and Kristoffer ”Kris ” P. Gozum are holding the “Father & Son” art exhibits at Bambu Intramuros Art Bar & Restaurant, National Press Club Manila. Opening the exhibit recently were Onie Daz Deuda, Kristoffer P. Gozum, former senator Heherson T. Alvarez, Rafael Ramos Gozum Jr. Exhibit will run till June 30.
