MANILA, Philippines—Repertory Philippines proudly announces its second offering for the year 2013 with “ No Way To Treat A Lady ” a musical comedy thriller with book, music and lyrics by Douglas J. Cohen based on the best-selling novel and renowned movie by William Goldman.

Directed by Audie Gemora, “No Way To Treat A Lady” is a musical comic thriller chronicling the exploits of a 1970s momma’s boy serial killer – who draws a red lipstick kiss on the forehead of each of his victims as a calling card – and the hardened momma’s boy cop hell-bent on tracking him down.

“No Way To Treat  a Lady” focuses on the themes—Betrayal, Death, Friendship, Jewish/Yiddish issues, Love, Parenting/Family.

As a witty, snappy, dark, and wickedly entertaining black comedy, the music and lyrics of “No Way To Treat a Lady” are magical — you will actually start humming melodies that stay with you. All the elements come together to illustrate what a first-rate musical should be !
