The University of the East (UE), through its Office of Cultural Affairs (UE OCA), will hold cultural presentations throughout September in connection with UE’s 67th foundation anniversary.
The musicale “Andres Bonifacio,” by composer Jerry A. Dadap,, will be staged on Sept. 20, 2 p.m., at the UE Theater. This officially begin this year’s UE anniversary festivities.
The UE Drama Company takes the lead role in the musicale. Also performing are the UE Chorale, UE Silanganan Dance Troupe and UE Band.
Meanwshile, “A Musical Variety Show” will be staged on Sept. 30, 2 p.m.
The grand finals of the annual UE Pop Idol, now on its 10th season, will be held on Sept. 13 at 2 p.m., with 15 finalists vying for the top prize.
These shows will be held at the UE Theater in UE Manila for free, on a first-come-first-serve.
