Unlike conventional spacecraft we see on television and the movies, the shuttle that will carry the first Filipino to outer space isn’t 100 feet tall, doesn’t have solid rocket boosters, or takes off vertically. In fact, it’s about the size of a Cessna Skyhawk and it takes off horizontally like airplanes do on an airport runway.
But this new spacecraft has mind-blowing features you wouldn’t think were possible for its small size.
