The country’s best triathlon freezine lines up events | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

The country’s top swim, bike and run freezine, MultiSport, is set to reestablish itself this year as the strongest and the best in the race on three fronts.

This month, Pia Cayetano is on the cover, sporting a slick, energetic, brand-new look. MultiSport is not only the Philippines’ leading source on triathlon, but will soon become a universal source of education and inspiration, encouraging readers to take up a healthy and active lifestyle through other athletes who have their own knowledge to share.

One event to look out for is the MultiSport 101 Camp that makes its much-awaited return on Saturday, May 24, at Bonifacio Global City, with the first leg being a special women’s running camp.

The 101 Camp series of sports seminars will run for the rest of the year, with various coaches and experts holding lectures on swimming, biking and running, educating and honing the skills of those new to the sport, as well as more experienced athletes who wish to improve.

Also set to debut later this year is MS Life, a new kind of MultiSport event that will feature different personalities speaking on various topics like health and wellness, encouraging participants to live right, live healthy and get active.

The MultiSport 101 Camp will continue with biking legs in June and July, a swimming leg in August, and another running leg for this year’s final camp in September.

Last but not the least is the relaunch of the MultiSport website, happening in June. The new website aims to be the go-to place online when it comes to all things triathlon—the latest news, event coverage and schedules, features on athletes, health, nutrition, training, blogs by athletes, and much more content.

The site is also set to have forums where the swim, bike and run community can gather and share their experiences, opinions and knowledge. It will also eventually feature a system that will allow race organizers to use the website as a registration point for events.

So whether you’re a casual runner, a weekend cyclist, an occasional swimmer, a newbie or a veteran of the triathlon scene, the bigger, better and stronger MultiSport is for you.

Interested in joining MS 101? Preregister for the first leg by e-mailing your details to [email protected], or you may register at the event itself on May 24.
