It’s not easy to keep your cool when you’re melting in this 40 degrees Celsius weather. (If only it burns excess body fat!)

 

If you can help it, stay out of the sun, hydrate, and cocoon in the air-conditioned comforts of your home or office.

 

But if staying indoors isn’t an option, do what you must and dress as comfortably as possible. Opt for looser silhouettes, and natural fibers or fabrics with cooling and moisture-wicking technology. (Those Nike Dri Fits and Adidas Climacools you typically wear to the gym? Not exactly a bad idea.)

 

There’s no fooling the body in this horrendous heat, though you can cheat the eyes by picking vibrant, citrus shades and florals. They may not actually cool you down, but hey, who’s to say you can’t try? Cheche V. Moral
