Before Cheetah Rivera’s collection took over the runway, there was an audio-visual presentation of flowers in bloom, while a viola played in the background. A woman could be heard recounting her experiences of what it’s like to love and lose someone.

Soon enough, a field of yellow and white dresses and gowns began to fill the catwalk. All of the creations had flower appliqués, huge and small, and models wore flower chokers. Beloved is Cheetah’s spring/summer ’16 presentation carried a fresh and delicate aesthetic.
