Read-Along storytelling workshop held Saturday | Lifestyle.INQ

MANILA, Philippines–In line with the upcoming Inquirer Read-Along Festival Storytelling Competition, a storytelling workshop will be held Saturday at 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Inquirer main office in Makati.

 

The workshop is free for all contestants in the competition, which is open to all students aged 10 to 12 who have never won first place in any storytelling contest.

 

Students who want to join the workshop but not the contest may do so for a fee of P500 per head. Schools that are fielding contestants are entitled to a maximum of three noncontestant slots and two coaches free of charge. Teachers who want to join the workshop but are not coaches of contestants may also do so for a fee of P500. Slots are on a first-come, first-served basis. This year’s Festival will be held on Nov. 12 and 13 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. The storytelling competition finals will be held on the last session of the Festival’s second day at 3-4:30 p.m. Interested attendees may call Ellen at tel. 8978808 loc. 329.
