Jason Mraz’s latest studio album “Yes!” marks a milestone, having debuted at No. 1 in 46 countries.
The record’s success has made it more exciting to anticipate his upcoming concert on Nov. 27 at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
This would be the singer-songwriter’s fourth visit to Manila.
Also performing with Mraz is Raining Jane, an indie all-women folk-rock band.
Since launching his career 15 years ago by playing the coffeehouse circuit in San Diego, California, the 36-year-old American has brought his positive image and soulful, folk-pop sound to audiences worldwide through his recordings, sold-out live performances and philanthropic projects.
In 2009, in recognition of his support for a clean environment, sustainable energy, education and human equality, the Environmental Media gave Mraz the Missions in Music Award.
He was also invited to join former US Vice President Al Gore in the Climate Reality Fact-Finding Expedition to Antarctica in January 2012.
Aside from being a singer and recording artist, Mraz also enjoys a reputation as a dedicated surfer, farmer-gardener, filmmaker and photographer.
He has sold 48 million singles including “I’m Yours.” He is a recipient of two Grammy Awards and a Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame.
Mraz has performed in major venues worldwide, such as the Hollywood Bowl, Madison Square Garden and London’s 02 Arena.
