‘Exodus’ guarantees 24 hours of music from bands and DJs | Lifestyle.INQ

Get ready for Exodus Music and Arts Festival, one of the best music events of the year. The event will be 24 hours of music and art with over 25 local and international bands and DJs from different genres.

Exodus will happen on March 21 at Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park in Binakayan, Kawit, Cavite. This music movement will start at 7 a.m. and last until the wee hours of Sunday.

American reggae/pop band Big Mountain will be one of the highlights of the festival. The band is known for its cover of Peter Frampton’s “Baby, I Love Your Way.”

Other performers include Joey “Pepe” Smith, Maria Cafra, The Wuds, The Youth, Razorback, Wolfgang, Franco, Urbandub, Tropical Depression, Adinkra Lumads Djembe Community, Indio-i, Roots of Nature, Jeck Pilpil and Peacepipe, Coconut Head, Coffee Break Island, Claras Bliss, Legit Misfitz, Philippine All Stars, Manila Sky, Dandimites, Vagabonds, Kartel at Lion and the Scouts, DJ Bravo, DJ Ace Ramos, DJ Kimosave, DJ Jennifer Lee, MC Vince Ryder, Mark Gonzalez, Phat Jorge and more.

Big Mountain will also be performing at Newport Performing Arts Theater at Resorts World Manila on March 20, 8 p.m., as part of “Irie Friday,” together with international YouTube performer David Dimuzio. He has recorded duets with Yeng Constantino, Nyoy Volante, Yassi Pressman, Steven Silva, Mikey Bustos and Moymoy Palaboy.

There will be free shuttle buses for those who want to go to Exodus—pick-up and drop-off points will be at SM Mall of Asia.

This event is presented by Resorts World Manila, Mossimo, ABS-CBN and DMC Philippines, and supported by Island Cove, Hard Rock Café, Club Dredd Boracay, Charlie’s, Cebu Parklane Hotel, Sole Slam, YCL Hotel, Dog House Diner, SM Cinemas, Snack Time and Digipost. A portion of the concert’s proceeds will go to Gary Ignacio (formerly of Alamid) to support his ongoing medical treatment.
