THE BACKSTREET Boys

Formed in 1993 at a time of many new and innovative musical trends, the Backstreet Boys immediately won the hearts of millions with its distinct sound and style that reflected the spirit and mood of the era, eventually helping usher in the age of boy bands.

The association between the Backstreet Boys and the boyband phenomenon became so entrenched and deep, shaped and sustained by the group’s hit singles and albums and sold-out worldwide tours that earned for it a special place in pop culture.

Fast forward to 2015. Relive the exciting and vibrant era of the ’90s when the Backstreet Boys returns to Manila for a one-night concert on May 5 at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena in Pasay City.

Dubbed In A World Like This Tour, the summer treat from Ovation Productions and Live Nation marks the Manila stop of the band’s ongoing world tour, in support of its first independent album of the same title.

The group is expected to perform old hits like “I Want It That Way,” “Quit Playing Games with My Heart,” “Everybody (‘Backstreet’s Back’),” “As Long As You Love Me,” “I’ll Never Break Your Heart,” “Anywhere For You,” “Larger Than Life,” “Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely,” “Shape of My Heart,” “This Is Us,” “Never Gone,” “Unbreakable” and many more.

The popular American boy band was last seen in Manila in 2012, when it teamed up with another pop legend, New Kids on the Block, to form the super group known as NKOTBSB, in  a one-night concert on June 3 also at the MOA Arena, as part of its 2011-2012 international tour.

The show was also produced by Ovation Productions.

In A World Like This Tour is presented in Manila by Ovation Productions and Live Nation. Tickets are priced at P7,920, P6,870, P5,810, P4,760, P3,700, P2,640 and P930. Tickets are available at all SM Tickets outlets or online through www.smtickets.com.
