Manila ‘alta sociedad’ takes off for different foreign destinations | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

Overseas travel, dahlings, is a necessity to our town’s prominent citizens.

Their plans to escape the scorching summer heat were the main discussion when Renna Hechanova Angeles and husband Ed Angeles hosted a belated birthday bash for their circle of friends: Conchita Toda and her brother Bugoy Simo, Marivic Madrigal Vasquez, Baby Girl Fricke, Alex Van Hagen, Raul Manzano, moi, and the no-shows Jojie Dingcong, Conrad Onglao and Zsa Zsa Padilla (both were down with a flu), and Anton Roxas.

Over dinner, it was learned that some of them would be flying to different destinations for a breather.

Renna herself said she will go to Paris to meet up with her pal, Tatler publisher Irene Martel Francisco.

Chuchu Madrigal Eduque is going to New York but will follow Irene to Paris. Joining them are Irene’s husband, cardiologist Randy Francisco, and daughter Isabel.

Randy and Isabel will be jetting in from New York for the family’s yearly vacation in the south of France to check the best wineries in the region. Then the family will be off to Madrid.

Carla Tengco and husband Al Tengco will stay in San Francisco for a month. They will later proceed to China for an international baseball competition where their son Javier will compete as part of the Philippine team.
