The Philippines is now home to the first Wonder Photo Shop outside of Japan. The popular photo printing shop has opened its doors at UP Town Center.
“We want to make printing photos more fun,” said Takuya Maeda, Fujifilm Philippines’ division head for electronic imaging and photo imaging. “Filipinos love taking photos but the ratio of them keeping the picture is low. They’re losing interest in printing because the process is boring.”
There is nothing boring about Wonder Photo Shop. Apart from quality printing services, there are Wonder Print Stations where people can hook up their phones and cameras or pop in their CDs and memory cards so they can play with their images, edit and add fun frames before printing.
There’s a selfie studio too so you can take your selfie game to the next level. You can also have photo books printed in just an hour.
If you love crafting and scrapbooking, prepare to flip out—there are photo albums, stickers, accessories and washi tape to help you unleash your creativity.
Love Instax cameras? They have ample stock here—including the impressive Instax Mini 90 and the limited edition Hello Kitty camera. Instax films are in abundance too, including the ones with fun prints like Rainbow, Stripe, Airmail, Monsters Inc., Hello Kitty, Little Twin Stars, Wedding, Alice In Wonderland, the Filipino favorite Comic and more.
Fujifilm’s digital cameras—including the revolutionary mirrorless cameras—are also available at the store.
Wonder Photo Shop is at the third floor of UP Town Center. It’s open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Wonder Photo Shop is run by YKL Colors, Inc., a FujiFilm distributor.
