Former Inquirer Lifestyle food columnist Eufemia “EC” Estrada, who passed away on June 24 at age 85, had written two bestselling cookbooks—“Kusina ni EC” (1997) and “Baking Made EC” (2001).
Estrada started writing her Inquirer Lifestyle column, “Cooking Made EC,” in 1995. Her last column appeared in 2004.
Estrada was an English and Journalism professor before she ventured into food writing.
She is survived by her sister Feli Estrada Deleña, nephews, and nieces.
