The “Rock The Boat” event gathered over 60 of Boracay’s personalities and island residents for an epic “Great Gatsby”-theme get-together on the 65-feet outrigger fiberglass boat.

Guests experienced what it felt like to have a private boat with a sumptuous spread of wine, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Due to the prevailing habagat or southwest monsoon winds on White Beach, they were shuttled from the designated reception area along the sheltered Bulabog Beach.

The Boracay SunCruiser sailed across the eastern side of the island at a leisurely speed, offering panoramic views of nearby islands and coves.

Although the guests were familiar with the surroundings, the trip rekindled their love of Boracay. They were lost in the revelry of conversation, music and dancing, broken only by moments of meditative silence.

As the boat sliced through the waters, the poetry of nature unfolded—the wind caressed the skin, the endless sea reflected the immense sky, and the sun melted stale thoughts and quieted the mind. This cathartic experience is what defines each “uncharted” and truly memorable experience aboard the Boracay SunCruiser.

Taking the amazing cruise to the next level, the boat anchored off Ilig Iligan Beach before sunset for some water fun. Guests took turns taking a plunge into the deep blue from the Jump-Off Pad and the Super Slide with chill out music by Boracay’s own, DJ Reo Mendoza aka The Blindside.

The party reached fever-pitch proportions with guests dancing as the endemic Boracay Flying Foxes or fruit bats glided above. It signaled a perfect day in paradise and capping what was considered “the cruise of a lifetime!”

Exhilarated, refreshed and revitalized, the merry Boracay family cheered “Our boat! Our boat! Our boat!” as they disembarked in groups and were shuttled back to the shore, voices trailing in the dark. With adrenaline and high spirits still surging, an after party followed because after all, there is no rest for the wicked, especially on Boracay!

This is a different experience of Boracay.

The Boracay SunCruiser can accommodate up to 50 passengers comfortably, making each voyage an exclusive party. It is fully equipped and comes with a skilled crew.

Introductory rate is P1,300 per person, inclusive of one round trip boat shuttle service, a welcome drink plus two local cocktails, onboard snacks, full bar service, deck steward and lifeguard service, unlimited use of the Boracay SunCruiser Super Slide and Jump-off Launch Pad, and other facilities and amenities.

The boat is available every Saturday, 1 to 6:30 p.m., subject to change depending on weather and tide conditions.
