Bring out the pompoms and tie your hair in ponytails—it’s that time of year again. The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Cheerdance Competition happens today, Oct. 3, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena and excitement is high among fans and dancers alike.

 

From the intense stunts and choreography to the flashy makeup and costumes, the event draws countless students for those reasons and school loyalty, of course. Here’s what hard-core followers have to say:
