Vantage Feast at Kapitolyo a success | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

Kapitolyo has long been home to a thriving restaurant scene, but this bustling district discovered a new tasty perspective when an influx of casual contemporary restaurants upped the cool quotient at the neo-soulful Vantage Feast held on October 3.

Crowds flocked to the rotating monthly foodie outpost where people from all walks of life delighted in superlative eateries brought exclusively at Rockwell Primaries’ The Vantage at Kapitolyo into a hotbed of seriously good food, trendy tunes, and great company.

The best part is that there was something for everyone to enjoy. Meat lovers queued for Malcolm’s Burgers’ impressive array of perfectly grilled wagyu creations, Lechon & Co.’s roast of the day as well as Open Kitchen’s fine pork tacos and anise pork belly. Bullchef, a tiny spot with simple yet delicious homemade bulalo and attentive service got the nod of the crowd.

Skinita’s street food, Baguettini’s sumptuous sandwiches, Pomodoro Pizza’s easy-on-the-eye pies, French Toasters’ polished toasts, and Tita Chubbies’ award-winning adobo made for great conversation fare while sipping a bottle of Stanford x Shaw’s icy ginger ale. To balance the multi-vendor banquet, musicians Reese Lansangan and Over October entertained the guests with their own brand of music and covers that the crowd heartily devoured.

Dessert? Vantage Feast lined up a super group: Icepops MNL offered flavored ice cream popsicles; Krusties introduced their new fried ice cream concept; and, of course, Carmen’s Best had their blissful selection of signature flavors that people have come to know and love.

It wasn’t, however, just a night of glorious food and friendly exchanges; it was also an opportunity to give back. A portion of the proceeds from the food sales went to their chosen charitable institution. Meaning, the more you ate, the more you gave back. At the end of the night, a significant sum was raised to help fund the different projects of Habitat for Humanity.

The event venue was no other than the future site Rockwell Primaries’ The Vantage at Kapitolyo. Vantage Feast at Kapitolyo was made possible by Northern Living in partnership with Rockwell Primaries. Official media partners include,, Inquirer Plus,, Scout magazine. ADVT.
