Randalf Dila wins US award; to exhibit at ArtistSpace

RANDALF Dilla solo exhibit “Tyranny of Hindsight” opens Nov. 5 at ArtistSpace, Ayala Museum.

The exhibition showcases “#What now” and “Salvaged Memories, Salvaged Lives,” two photo realistic murals, those when combined spans over a thousand square feet of canvas. The latter won an award from Art Renewal Center in the United States.

Show runs runs until Nov. 19.

ArtistSpace is at G/L, Ayala Museum Annex, Makati Ave. corner De La Rosa St., Greenbelt Park, Makati City.

Self-portraits at UP Visayas

“Ako Ini,” a group exhibit of self-portraits by student-artists from Central Philippine University, opens Nov. 4 at UPV Art Gallery in University of the Philippines Visayas, Iloilo City.

The 60 portraits are done in pen-and-ink using pointillism technique by Digital Media and Interactive Arts students in their basic drawing class under Ford Foundation International fellow Liby Limoso.

‘Eros’ at SM Art Center

The group exhibition “Eros” is on view at SM Art Center until Nov. 5.

Participating artists are Aleah Angeles, Dr. Joel Mendez, Nino Cubacub, Reynard Borillo and Jigger Cruz.

Organized by Mendez Big and Small Gallery, the show conflates the themes of death and desire as inevitable dimensions of man’s mortal existence.
