Cebu has always had an array of places that make residents and visitors feel right at home but there’s a buzzing feeling brewing at Rockwell’s fascinating new development.

Kicking off the first-ever Weekend Sunset at 32 Sanson, the outdoor foodie fête sits at the new 32 Sanson, a charismatic urban development integrated with natural flourishes, where it will host big names and well-loved brands in the Cebu food scene. Anything but rustic, the free-for-all event happening on Nov. 14, Saturday from 4pm-10pm will transport locals to every corner of the social front with its ideal garden backdrop and wood accents.

First off, the sun-drenched deck will be transformed into a food mecca where people will get to enjoy an abundance of global gastronomy like shrimp rolls form The Kitchen Project, sumptuous beef shanks from The Braiserie, lechon bellies from TAP 66, burgers from The Burger Nation, bacon-filled dishes from Everything Bacon, and a healthy dose of pizzas from Pizza Lab. Hoping to bring a bit of artisan authenticity to the table are Scoops by Edrea’s homemade designer gelatos and Tahotally’s specialty homemade taho. While Mad Chicken’s one-of-a-kind sandwiches and Kitskitchenn’s own brand of lovely pastries offer options to outclass even traditional weekend market grub.

This family-friendly backyard fundraiser (part of the proceeds will be donated to the Worldwide Fund for Nature and Children of the Coast Foundation) is also a celebration of Hinge Inquirer Publication’s community lifestyle magazine Cebu Living’s first anniversary. The quarterly magazine has been a robust vehicle to connecting Cebuanos to different sides of their city that may otherwise have been overlooked with its noteworthy storytelling and absorbing photography.

While adults can sip on their ice-cold drinks listening to live music and watching the sun go down, their tots can play around the grounds loaded with fun, kid-friendly activities. It’s definitely going to be a perfect day-to-night affair set under a canopy of nature with entertainment for the whole family.
