Talent that endures is rare. For Benedicto Reyes Cabrera, who celebrates his fiftieth year of creativity, it is a testament to his brilliance that his works continue to inspire and elicit awe from those who have had the privilege to see them.

As part of the year-long celebration of BenCab: 50 Creative Years, the National Artist collaborated with another enduring National: National Book Store.

The BenCab x National Book Store collection tells the artist’s story through an assortment of lifestyle goods that are sure to become hot items for the holidays.

“We are very honored to do a collaboration with BenCab. In line with his special milestone, we are launching a special limited edition stationery collection in honor of his contribution to the country’s culture. We are proud to finally present the BenCab products which feature some of his exceptional works. Through this collection, we hope that we will be able to bring BenCab’s works closer to a wider market and reach out to a new generation of artists and enthusiasts,” says National Book Store Managing Director Xandra Ramos-Padilla.

BenCab says, “I am thankful to National Book Store for being a part of the celebration of my fifty creative years. I am glad to be given the opportunity to share my works, and by extension my story, to every Filipino. I hope that this collaboration can motivate people to be more inspired.”

The gorgeous collection features five iconic artworks–Monumental Figure III, Woman with Fan, Sabel, Mother and Child, and Pillow Vendors–on memo pads, pocket notebooks (perfect for the plein air urban sketcher), spiral notebooks, journal, sketch pads, notecard sets, memo cube boxes, and pocket accordion file holders with pad.

In addition, the “BenCab: Nude Drawings” book has also been reissued by Anvil Publishing with text and commentary by Krip Yuson.
