How Did Pia Wurtzbach, Heart Evangelista, and Solenn Heussaff Spend Their Chinese New Year? | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

Many of us found ourselves snacking  away on tikoy and enjoying the free day from work that the Chinese New Year brought. Some of us might have even checked out our horoscopes for the year to prepare for both the good and the bad luck headed our way.

While we were busy doing that, our local celebrities were already out creating their own luck. Taking advantage of the long weekend and the festive mood, they went ahead and spent the start of the new year with some cool vibes and good friends. Let’s see just exactly how, so maybe next year, we won’t be watching the Super Bowl halftime performance on loop.

Isabelle Daza

Happy Birthday my loveeee @lizzzuy ❤️ (PS why do I look like Ellen and you look like Portia 😐😐)

The start of the Year of the Fire Monkey also happened to be the birthday of Belle’s close friend and stylist Liz Uy. The simple dinner brought together Liz’s other equally stylish friends like Anne Curtis, Erwan Heussaff, and Raymond Gutierrez which proves that having good company around is best on any day of the year.

Our dream shopping buddy enjoyed a day out in the sun as she checked in at The Lind in Boracay. We guess looking like a tanned goddess is a priority, especially when you want to conquer the coming days.

Iza Calzado

Good Morning! 🍉🍃🍌🌴🍍😋

True to what she told us previously, Iza loves to chill at The Farm at San Benito. Given the three-day getaway, she stole away from the city immediately and loaded up on her favorite healthy fixes. Makes you regret giving in to the extra serving of tikoy, right?

Heart Evangelista

Heart loaded up on lucky charms for her bags this year. However, looks like luck is already on her side with her current exhibit at the Ayala Museum in full swing. Plus, she’s been dropping hints about her latest collab with local cosmetics brand Happy Skin. Hustle hard, Heart!

Solenn Heussaff

Shooting! #Tripinas #Bukidnon

Ever the hard worker, Solenn didn’t seem to remember that it was a holiday. She just took time out to post a photo of her taping in Bukidnon. You go, Sos!

Pia Wurtzbach

Our reigning Miss Universe was out to represent yesterday. And it was quite a treat for her as she got to be the special correspondent for Inside Edition at the Super Bowl 50. And more importantly, did our own Queen meet Queen B? We need answers!

As the unofficial president of The Love Club, Janina seemed to be taking a chill moment at the City of Dreams Manila. Or was it just another of their weekly meetings?

Gretchen Barretto

Always one to go for a statement, Gretchen donned a  cheongsam and dined with her family for Chinese New Year. It pays to stick to tradition, after all.

While everyone was stuffing their faces with non-stop lauriats from the new year feast, Sofia clocked in some hours to work out at Il Centro Fitness. Now that’s what you call dedication.

Ruffa Gutierrez

In between all the drama and the family feuds, looks like all is well in the Gutierrez clan as they had a family gathering at Chinese fine-dining restaurant Passion in Resorts World Manila. Things were so good, in fact, that the dinner soon turned into a business meeting with the vice president of NBC Universal-Asia. Hmmm, could a new spin-off be in the works for Ruffa?
