Admission to the National Museum of the Philippines and some of its sites throughout the country is free to all female visitors for the whole month of March, dubbed as “National Women’s Month.”

The National Museum made such announcement on its Facebook page Tuesday.
From March 1 to 31, women will have free access to the National Museum located in Manila, Kiangan, Kabayan, Vigan, Angono-Binangonan Petroglyph Site, Tabaco and Butuan.
Exhibitions featuring women will also be displayed, including National Artist Benedicto Cabrera’s “Larawan” and “Sabel” series at the National Museum of Fine Arts at the Old Legislative Building in Manila.

Cabrera’s retrospective exhibition “Appropriate Souls,” which “bridges National Arts Month and National Women’s Month wonderfully,” opened to the public as well on Tuesday. YG/RAM
