The Fashion Designers Group (FDG) in Bacolod recently presented its Summer 2016 collections at the new wing of SM Bacolod.

 

Bacolod designers showed expertise and originality in presenting pieces that included soft pastel sundresses, bold neon separates and even sepia-toned classics.

 

The five-day series displayed FDG Bacolod’s solidarity and work ethic. The group is composed mostly of millennials, as well as a few baby boomers. John Ditching heads the group.

 

“We want to show that we have the ideas and craftsmanship to rival our Manila counterparts,” Ditching said.

 

Aside from Ditching, FDG Bacolod members include Irene Subang, Boy Ryan Gonzales, Adi Colmenares, Steve Genzola, Maica Pilongo, Marjun Gonzaga, Stephanie Ferraris, Heavenly Love San Miguel, Jovy Pacete, Rennie Braza, Totong Gellagarin, Chia Christopherson, Mig Duzon, Rad Garcia, Jose Maria Sarmienta, Sepia, Carmeli Bantug, Mel Gracia Quimpo, Dauson Bermtay and  Apol Embong.
