It’s a new beginning for top French hairstylist Laurent Hebert as creative director of Le Maquillage in Zuellig building in Makati. And what better way to jump-start his latest endeavor than by doing a makeover using hair color?

For Hebert, hair coloring is something he loves doing, having a knack for it; he immediately knows the right shade for you at a glance.

For this makeover story, Hebert played around with two different shades, first using platinum blond from L’Oreal for the highlight and as the primary shade. He didn’t make the color too “out there,” instead blending it with the model’s natural hair color. For the second color, Hebert used a darker shade called golden ash.

The look is a sun-kissed finish. “I did not cut the hair because the length is nice already,” added Hebert.
