“MY style has never changed. I never followed trends, and I still don’t follow them,” says designer Chito Vijandre.

While there is a growing fascination for minimalism and simple cuts, Vijandre creates a Filipiniana collection sans the usual terno for the upcoming Red Cross Gala.

Inquirer RED unveils the story of his designs in the magazine’s September issue.

Inside, Red presents the rising icons of French design from the recently concluded Maison et Objet Paris 2016.

There’s also a feature on comfortable sportswear. In the realm of food, Adriano Stefanutti of iTrulli talks about the ideal pairing of Filipino cuisine and Italian wines.

The edition also does a roundup of notable rooftop bars around the world. Bambina Olivares Wise meanwhile tackles social class issues in the so-called drug wars.
