Days before the much awaited beauty tilt in Manila, candidates of the 65th Miss Universe pageant gave it their all as they rehearsed for the preliminary competition and pageant proper at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
The 86 candidates, wearing cocktail dresses, casual wear, and high heels, practiced their ramp walk and introduction for the competition.
The preliminary competition will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena on Jan. 26, Thursday. The candidates’ performance in the swimsuit and long gown segments, including preliminary interviews, will be the judges’ basis in determining the Top 12.
The announcement of the pre-selected Top 12 candidates will kick off the coronation event on Jan. 30. YG/JE
