Post-Road Trip Destination for the Hungry | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

Fact: As fun as it is to go on a road trip and coast through the North, the long drive’s most likely going to leave everyone famished. When that happens, it would be great to have a go-to food hub that’s not only appealing to friends and family but also very easy to find.

Our recommendation: These three new food establishments in Sandbox, located in Alviera, Porac, Pampanga. Read on to know more about them:

1. El Pedro Cubanos

El pedro

The popular Cuban restaurant, which recently opened its second branch in Sandbox, offers authentic Cuban dishes that are fresh, playful, and calorie-friendly. Those who aren’t familiar with the Cuban cuisine are in for a big surprise—their sandwiches, mariquitas, tucca fritas, tamales, and empanadas are worth the long drive.

2. Morgans

If you’re looking to spend the whole day outside, you’ll be glad to know that Morgan’s authentic Kapampangan menu has got you covered from breakfast to dinner. Their dishes come straight from a Kapampangan household—rich, delicious, and made with love. Whether you’re with friends or family, this is where lunch should be.

Must try: Roast Beef (P149), Torta Giniling (P149), Baconsilog (P129), Sisig Pizza (P40)

3. Monster Milkshake

Known for their over-the-top milkshakes, ice cream, and bubble waffles, Monster Milkshake is the go-to place for families looking to cool down after a long day under the sun. But they’re not just all about the sweets—their gourmet hotdogs and waffle fries go really well with any of their milkshakes.

Must try: Monster Pastillas Surprise Milkshake (P189), Merry Berry Bubble Waffle (P169), The Ultimate Hotdog Addiction (P169), Spam-and-Waffle Fries (P149)

Besides the food establishments, Sandbox is also packed with outdoor rides and amenities, from their 180-meter roller coaster zipline and world-famous giant swing to their outdoor archery and ATV rides. The place is also open until 9 p.m. on weekends, which means they’ve got you covered from breakfast to dinner.

Now head on over to the North, marvel at the wonders of Mother Nature, and stop by Sandbox for the food and the rides! Follow Alviera PH on Facebook and Instagram to know more. ADVT.
