Looking for an insanely “funtastic” internship that involves beer, traveling and Instagram? Check this out.
World of Beer (WOB), a Florida-based craft beer chain, has opened its annual call for three “Drink It” interns who will travel across the United States and beyond, take a sip of alcohol at breweries and taverns, and snap Instagram-worthy photos of the experience, Conde Nast reported.
According to the job description posted on the company’s site, selected interns would be “hopping from brewery to brewery, WOB tavern to WOB tavern to explore beer for themselves and share their stories with WOB drinkers across the country” from May to August.
Although it’s not necessarily a requirement to be magicians in guzzling booze, applicants must be 21 years old and legally allowed to work in the country during the time of the internship.
Once accepted, interns are expected to document their travels by publishing blogs, taking photos and uploading content on Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook, and filming their trips. As a bonus, all travel costs will be paid and all interns will walk away with $12,000 (P603,500) after the four-month internship.
Interested “drunks” are also expected to produce a one-minute clip elaborating why WOB should handpick them for the heavenly internship. The pool of applicants who qualify for the next round will be invited to selected locations in the US for a series of interviews. From there, the three lucky travelers will be chosen.
According Travel and Leisure, WOB first offered its Drink It” internship last year and did it again this year due to persistent clamor from customers. Online applications should be in by March 26.
