Central Square in BGC, Taguig, has been open since 2014 but it was only yesterday that it was formally introduced to the media through its 2017 summer campaign.

Since many of the stores at Central Square are SSI (Stores Specialists, Inc.) brands, some shoppers fondly refer to it as the SSI mall. This summer, SSI Group, Inc. teamed up with Huma Island Resort & Spa, Skyjet Airlines, Samsonite and Marketplace by Rustan’s for its “Lounge in Luxury” summer promo. Receipts for purchases worth P3,000 made at SSI stores at Central Square and in BGC entitle one to a raffle ticket for the chance to win one of five summer getaways for two at Huma.

“This is actually our second summer promo. Last year, shoppers with single-receipt purchases worth at least P3,000 qualified for the raffle,” SSI and Rustan’s vice president Michael Huang told Lifestyle. The prizes up for grabs then were trips to different vacation spots in the Philippines.

“This year, we’ve partnered with Huma, Skyjet, Samsonite and Marketplace by Rustan’s,” said SSI group events and promotions manager Jeanger Navarro. “Aside from single receipts, shoppers can present accumulated receipts for purchases at SSI stores worth P3,000 to join the raffle.” Purchases must be made from April 5 to June 30.

Each of the five winners will have round-trip airfare for two from Skyjet Airlines, a three day/two night stay in a Water Villa at Huma Island Resort, with daily breakfasts, land and boat transfers, and full use of the island’s facilities.
