Art lovers and enthusiasts are all excited for Art In The South, a daylong art festival set on Sunday, April 23, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., at The Filinvest Tent, Filinvest City, Alabang.
Featuring works by Philippine masters as well as rising young artists, Art in the South seeks to bolster the booming art scene in the fast developing neighborhoods of Muntinlupa, Laguna, Parañaque, Las Piñas and Cavite.’
Organized by Filinvest Malls with JJ Duque and Ricky Ocampo, the organizer behind World Food Expo Bazaar and The Infrastructure Expo, Art In The South will showcase the works of hundreds of artists and several art galleries. The South will be well-represented by its illustrious art figures, among them renowned glass sculptor Ramon Orlina.
Art In The South will also feature a free painting workshop at the booth of Art Nebula PH. Festival-goers can also wine and dine, and listen to some relaxing summer music all day long amidst all the colors of the festival.
