Spicy-food aficionados are in for another scorching treat, as a new pepper is set to break a world record.

Clocking in at a ridiculous 3.18 million Scoville heat units—the metric for everything spicy—the aptly named “Pepper X” will soon be burning people’s tastebuds around the world.

According to Mashable, the flaming new pepper was made possible by spicy-food aficionado Ed Currie.

Although not officially tested by Guinness World Records, Pepper X is supposed to be way hotter than current titleholder “Dragon’s Breath” (2.48 million Scoville units) and the infamous “Reaper” (1.5 million Scoville units).

Since the pepper could be deadly to consume on its own, Currie came up with a fiery concoction called the “The Last Dab” hot sauce.

The now-popular sauce has been developed for over a decade and has received many orders online.

“Starting with a pleasant burn in the mouth, the heat passes quickly, lulling you into a false confidence. You take another bite, enjoying the mustard and spice flavors. This would be great on jerk chicken, or Indian food!” the description on the bottle reads.

“But then, WHAM! All of a sudden your skin goes cold and your stomach goes hot, and you realize the power of X.”  Khristian Ibarrola /ra

Sweet fiery crap it has arrived. Who’s game? #thelastdab #hotones #firstwefeast #heatonist
