Miss Philippines Rachel Peters was not among the four Miss Universe contestants from Asia and the Pacific and Africa named to enter the semifinals.

The four bets who made it were from Thailand, Sri Lanka, Ghana, and South Africa.

The pageant is being held in Las Vegas, USA.
