Exploring pure and unadulterated femininity, artist Aileen Lanuza captures the mystery and emotion of a woman conveying the quality of strength and quiet fortitude in her solo exhibit “Piercing the Veil.”

Show will be on view March 6-18, with the Artist Reception on March 14, 6 p.m., at Galerie Joaquin Podium, Mandaluyong City.

Lanuza explores the relationship between conventional tenets of the female psyche and contemporary ethics. With such diverse influences, she creates new insights from both orderly and random perspectives on women.

Lanuza completed her studies at the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts.
