Pianist Carmencita Sipin Aspiras will mount a recital on Aug. 12 at 6 p.m., at Ayala Museum, Makati City. Her program: Rachmaninoff/Kocsis’ Vocalise, Schubert’s Piano Sonata in B-flat major, D.960 and Brahms’ Seven Fantasies, Op.116.

Aspiras performed widely in Europe and recorded for radio networks Radio Vienna, Radio Graz, Sueddeutsche Rundfunk and RIAS Berlin. She performed the Philippine premiere of Sir Michael Tippett’s Concerto with the composer conducting.

Aspiras will also conduct a masterclass on Aug. 13, 2-5 p.m., at Sunshine Place 56 Jupiter St., Bel-Air, Makati City. Masterclass is open to the public for free.
